Dearest Friends & Family,

As you may or may not know, Adam and Sarah are getting married! We recently returned from a short but productive trip to Kaua’i, Hawai’i where preliminary wedding plans were made. With the guidance of Kaua’i and our friends on the island, our planning unfolded… enchantingly. After 500 diligent miles in the rental car, we found “the spot” and have picked a date for our ceremony: Saturday August 8th, 2009. Formal invitations will follow in the upcoming months.

We will be arriving on or around July 29th,2009, and would love for all those with the means and desire for a week long island adventure to arrive Sunday August 2nd, 2009. If you cannot arrive until later that week, that is fine as well. We realize it may be difficult for you to come to Kaua’i, and we would understand if you cannot join us. However, our fingers are crossed and we'll be delighted if you can! We cannot imagine taking the plunge anywhere other than the magical place we met. If you ever considered visiting The Garden Isle, this is your opportunity. You will have us as your island tour guides and will be in the best of company. We hope our wedding will be the excuse you’ve been looking for.

During our recent trip, we found lodging accommodations on the East side ( Kapa’a & Wailua) ranging from $30-$200/night per person. These houses and condos fill up quickly and may soon no longer be available. Hotels are by far the most expensive option and we do not recommend them for several reasons. Keep in mind that the cheapest room at the Marriot goes for $300 a night and probably has a view of a wall. When you contact us we can give you specific information and contact info depending on your budget and preferences. We know an RSVP at this point would be asking a lot. For our purposes, we won’t need a firm number until May of 2009. However, airfare and more importantly housing (due to availability) will need to be taken care of by you long before that date.

Please give us a call as soon as possible or contact us via e-mail or in person so that we may assist you in reserving your accommodations. Many of the houses we found sleep 8 or more people, so some collaboration amongst us will be needed.
Much love,

Sarah 832-641-3506
